Technical-Vocational Education and Training Department

Saint Bernadette College of Alabang (SBCA) offers a comprehensive Technical-Vocational Education and Training (TVET) program designed to equip students with industry-recognized skills for immediate employment. Established in 2012, the TVET department has expanded its offerings to include a diverse range of TESDA-accredited programs.

TVET Programs Offered

SBCA's TVET department provides the following TESDA-Registered Programs & TESDA-Accredited Assessment Center

• Caregiving NC II: Prepares students to provide care for infants, the elderly, and differently-abled individuals. TESDA-Accredited Assessment Center
   
• Bookkeeping NC III: Equips students with advanced skills in financial record-keeping and accounting. TESDA-Accredited Assessment Center
   
• Computer Systems Servicing NC II: Focuses on installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems. TESDA-Accredited Assessment Center
   
• Cookery NC II: Teaches culinary skills, including food preparation and kitchen management. TESDA-Accredited Assessment Center
   
• Food and Beverage Services NC II: This covers aspects of food service operations and customer service excellence. TESDA-Accredited Assessment Center
   
• Bread and Pastry Production NC II: Provides skills in baking and pastry making. TESDA-Accredited Assessment Center
   
• Japanese Language and Culture I: Introduces basic Japanese language skills and cultural understanding. TESDA-Accredited Assessment Center
   
• Restaurant Operations and Services: Focuses on managing restaurant operations and delivering quality service.
   
• Trainer’s Methodology Level I: TESDA-Accredited Assessment Center only
   

Facilities and Accreditation

The TVET department boasts state-of-the-art facilities, including specialized laboratories and training centers, to provide hands-on experience. In 2024, the Technical Vocational Institute (TVI) Quality Team prepared for the visit of the Regional Review Committee as part of the institution's commitment to maintaining high training standards.
