THE BASIC EDUCATION PRINCIPAL

Maria Ramona C. Gonzales, LPT, MAEd - As an educational leader with a strong foundation in English language instruction, I bring over two decades of experience in both academic and administrative roles. I hold a Master of Arts in Education, major in Teaching English as a Second Language, from the University of Perpetual Help System Laguna, and have completed the academic requirements for a Master’s degree in Language Education at the University of the Philippines, Diliman. My academic journey began with a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of the East, Manila.
I am a licensed professional teacher and a certified specialist in Educational Technology in the English Language Classroom, accredited by TESDA. I am also an active member of the Philippine Association of Language Teaching, Inc., which keeps me connected to ongoing developments in language education.
Currently, I serve as Principal and Part-time College Instructor at St. Bernadette College of Alabang. As Principal, I am responsible for setting the academic vision of the school, leading faculty development, overseeing curriculum implementation, and ensuring that students receive a holistic, values-based education. My role also involves strengthening partnerships with parents, fostering a culture of excellence and inclusion, and ensuring compliance with educational standards and policies.
My past roles include serving as a full-time faculty member at Blessed Trinity School of Las Piñas and working in a leadership capacity in the hospitality industry as a restaurant manager in Fremont, California. These diverse experiences have equipped me with a dynamic perspective on leadership, communication, and organizational management.
I remain deeply committed to nurturing a learning environment where students and teachers alike are inspired to grow, lead, and make a positive impact on society.
