Annabelle S. Pelayo, MAEd-GC, is a seasoned Guidance Counselor and Educator with over 30 years of dedicated service in student development, mental health support, and values-driven education. As a Guidance Officer at SBCA, she provides compassionate, evidence-based counseling and guidance services that empower students to thrive academically, emotionally, and personally.

Her professional journey began in 1991 as a College Administrative Staff member, where she cultivated a deep understanding of student services and academic systems. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Manuel Luis Quezon University in 1996, she briefly worked as an HR Recruitment Officer—gaining valuable insight into human behavior and organizational psychology.

From 1998 to 2007, Annabelle served as both a Psychometrician and Guidance Officer, where she conducted psychological assessments, delivered developmental guidance programs, and provided one-on-one counseling to students. In 2003, she expanded her impact by becoming a College Instructor, a role she continues to fulfill with passion and purpose.

In 2014, she joined SBCA as a full-time Guidance Officer. Since then, she has become a trusted and enduring presence in the lives of students, offering a safe, nonjudgmental space for support and personal growth. Her commitment to professional excellence was further solidified in 2015, when she earned a Master of Arts in Education, major in Guidance and Counseling from Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa.

Annabelle believes that guidance is more than a profession—it is a calling rooted in empathy, patience, and empowerment. Whether in counseling sessions, classroom discussions, or quiet moments in school corridors, she remains steadfast in her mission to help students discover their strengths, overcome challenges, and walk their path with confidence and clarity.
